Hello I'm new here and I'd like to introduce myself a bit! I'm 22 from Hungary and my name's Anna, and, surprise, I'm a viking/folk metal addict:) My favorite bands: * Amon Amarth * Cruachan * Einherjer * Eluveitie * Ensiferum * Equilibrium * Falkenbach * Finntroll * Folkearth* Korpiklaani * Lumsk * Menhir * Mithotyn * Moonsorrow * Nomans Land * Odroerir * Otyg * Pagan Reign * Runic* Thrudvangar * Thyrfing * Turisas * Tyr * Windir *, and the last band I saw live among these, was Tyr. And the next one I'll see live among my favorites, will be Amon Amarth. I'd love to find new friends here!

We have got lot requests about writing/releasing some news for everyone who's interested...so here we go:

Yes, Finntroll shall molest europe throughout the summer at various festivals like: Wacken, Summerbreeze, Sauna Open air (only show in Finland this year) and few others. All gig information will be available to you at GIGS-section of website. We have a replacement for Wilska and we are very anxious to introduce this new face to you all...so don't worry. We will release OFFICIAL statement about this matter when we feel the time is RIGHT, so little patience please.

At the moment things are quite hectic over here as we are working on new album, which will be (hopefully) released early next year.

And we are also working with new website/layout, so even tho it seems nothing is happening here, keep checking the site out every now and then. You might get surprised someday.

Until then, hope to see ya all somewhere out there during the summer. Rot 'n' Troll!

Moonsorrow has signed a new two-album contract with Spikefarm Records. The fifth album, tentatively titled "Homosika" will be recorded during the summer in Tico Tico Studio and is set to be released in late 2006. Stay tuned for the upcoming studio madness!

I got this news from www.warrioradio.com. Though I would like to feel excited, I took a second look, and "Homosika" seems to mean "Gay Pig." They'll probably going to record an album, but if I'm correct we're just being fed the same bullshit that we ewre fed when "Raah Raah Blaah" was news.

After 1 and a half years of negotiations, Týr signed a worldwide deal with Napalm Records in Austria for 3 albums(!), and a re-release of 'Eric The Red' to be released on March 24 in Europe and on April 25 in the US. It will also include previously unreleased material and the videos 'Regin Smiður' and 'Hail To The Hammer'. The next full length album will be released in September.

In other news...

The release date (15.2.2006) of the new Ensiferum mini-cd, Dragonheads is getting closer. (Already preordered it!)

The North American Elvenking release of The Winter Wake was on the 8th of February if my memory serves me correctly (Should be recieving this along with Dragonheads soon).

For those who haven't heard the new Falkenbach and Thyrfing albums (out last November) I can confirm that they indeed kick ass.
